Living a full life is often messy, confusing and painful. It is also full of moments of spontaneous joy, surprising pleasure and profound love. Basically, all the things. Often times you lose sight of the beauty in the chaos, and the everyday can start to feel mundane. Especially if you have lived the first half of your life reaching milestones, hitting goals and generally achieving much of what your heart desired.
I’m guessing that you’ve achieved a lot in your life and yet still there seems to be a hole. It’s like everything is fine and yet nothing really is.
So, you are approaching or have hit the half way mark - mid life. You are starting to notice a feeling of uneasiness lurking in the background. A sense of dissatification that perhaps achieving all the things is not all it's cracked up to be and you are unsure of what the second half of your life will feel like. There are things you could be doing to make your life better, but actually doing the thing feels like too much hard work.
Maybe you feel frustrated about not doing or being the way you would like but the friction point is not great enough to propel you into action.
What I am saying is, up untill recently the pain of change has seemed worse than the pain of staying the same.
Until now.
You fantasise about more excitement, fun, a more carefree life but the practicaities of your life seem to be set in stone….like you’ve traded your dreams for stability and comfort.
BUT what if you could change how you feel about your life in a way that doesn't rely on external factors. What if you could start right now?
The journey inward is the most exhilirating and courageous trip anyone can take. And you have already proven that you can achieve alot.
Applying the tools of yoga philosphy and practice to everyday activities, you can transform your life from the inside out. That’s my intention. Easy and practical life tools that don’t take up any more time, I know how busy you are.
With over 20 years experience in teaching and facilitating, I am both a certified yoga instructor and qualified teacher. I understand the importance of connecting with your body and mind as central to health and wellbeing. Together we will explore the therapeutic applications of yoga and access resources to take greater control of the aging process.

Working with the physical body is a much more refined practice than it may appear from the outside.
The practice of yoga asana allows you the opportunity to feel deeply into the physical structures of your body. The poses themselves are an invitation to experience the systems that make up your body and the intricate relationships between all structures and systems. Learning the names and functions of body parts, systems and their connections is a simple and effective way of cultivating the body mind connection so often talked about in yoga.
I now have a strong focus on anatomy and how the body stores information, and the systems and sequencing of movements that work synergistically in the body.
My aim is to provide you with a map of the body and internal workings. However, having a map is not the same as knowing the territory. This is your practice, your opportunity of self-exploration and discovery.
